MYRTLE BEACH, S.C., July 31, 2019–Coastal Carolinas Association of REALTORS® (CCAR) announces the recent hire of Madison B. Cooper to its staff as Director of Government Affairs.
Starting August 1, Cooper will be responsible for directing CCAR’s local, state and federal government affairs, strategies and interests, as well as maintaining relationships within the governmental, political and legislative realms. She will also serve as an active representative for CCAR advocacy, fundraising, campaigns and community outreach.
Cooper, who has an MBA from Clemson University, will move to Myrtle Beach from Greenville, S.C., where she worked as a Constituent Services and Outreach Representative for several years for the Upstate Regional Office of U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham. It was here that she honed her skills for CCAR by representing the senator at a variety of events throughout the community, building relationships with liaisons at federal agencies and continuously managing the daily operations at the senator’s largest state office.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Madison to our team of professionals,” says CEO of CCAR, Laura Crowther. “The impressive skill set she brings to this position closely aligns with the goals and expectations we have for the successful future of our organization, our members and our community.”
