North Myrtle Beach is a coastal resort city in Horry County, South Carolina, United States. It has a population of 13,752 as of 2010. It was created in 1968 from four existing municipalities north of Myrtle Beach, and serves as one of the primary tourist towns along the Grand Strand. Its history goes hand in hand with Myrtle Beach but North Myrtle Beach has several attractions of its own such as golf courses, Barefoot Landing, House of Blues, Alabama Theater, its gorgeous beach, their piers that reach out into the ocean and much more.
