How do I join CCAR as a REALTOR® member?

To become a member, you’ll need to make an appointment to meet with our membership team. If you choose to meet in person, bring your real estate license and member dues to the CCAR office at 951 Shine Ave., Myrtle Beach. It should take 20-30 minutes to review your welcome packet. If you choose to meet virtually, you’ll receive more detailed instructions via email. How do I find out more information on becoming an affiliate of CCAR?

While not licensed to sell or appraise real estate, our affiliate members are closely connected to and provide services to the industry, and support CCAR. Benefits include your contact info listed on the CCAR website, free attendance at membership meetings and conferences, and networking and sponsorship opportunities. How much is a Supra Lock Box?

Lockboxes are leased at $111/each (one-time fee).  Upon return of the lock box to CCAR, you will receive your deposit amount back, minus a $10 service charge.

What are my options if I am not able to stop by CCAR during normal business hours for a Lock Box or store item? 

We know 9-5 is not always a realistic timeframe in this market, so we now offer the CCAR O.W.L to help!  Our Overnight/Weekend Lockers are a convenient way to pick up items after normal business hours or over the weekend.  Call our Membership Department, 843-626-3638 for more information or to setup your OWL pickup.

What do I do if I have problems with key or lockbox?

First, make sure you have the most updated version of Supra by visiting your respective phones App Store or Playstore.  Second, turn your phone off and back on, and make sure that both the Bluetooth and Location Services are turned on. Also, make sure that you are accessing the lockbox at the appropriate times, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. (Spring/Summer), and 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. (Fall/Winter). Lastly, call Supra Tech Support at 1-877-699-6787.

I just got a new phone or had to transfer the app to a new electronic device. What are the steps to set up a new authorization code for my key or lockbox?

Agents can now activate/authorize the eKEY app on their new phones by themselves without calling for an authorization code. Follow these steps:

    • Open Supra app
    • Tap Activate eKey app
    • Choose “I need to obtain an authorization code”
    • Input cell phone (without any dashes, only numbers) or email address
    • Input the 4-digit pin you normally use to open a lock box.  
    • It will send you a code on your phone via text or email to authorize the key
    • Any questions that may pop up, the answers are always the “positive” answers (YES, ALLOW, GRANT, etc…) 

How do I go about updating my CCAR membership info?

Any REALTOR® or company changes need to be completed with the LLR Real Estate Commission before CCAR’s Member Services records are updated. For REALTOR® transfers, log in at: https://eservice.llr.sc.gov/SSO/Login/LoginPage?ReturnUrl=%2fBicChangeForm%2f. For status of information changes forms, visit: https://llr.sc.gov/re/transfers.aspx or call 803-896-4400.

Are REALTORS® required to take continued education classes and licenses?

Yes, the South Carolina Real Estate Commission requires CE for all REALTORS® in order to practice in the state. For a list of classes and license updates, visit https://llr.sc.gov/re/ce.aspx.
