Coastal Carolinas Multiple Listing Service, Inc. (CCMLS), Aiken MLS, Greater Greenville MLS, Lowcountry Regional MLS, and the MLS of Spartanburg are pleased to be members of the Palmetto Referral Network (Network), a data-sharing partnership. This expanded database allows for the sharing of crucial data between more than 14,000 REALTORS® across South Carolina through Realtors Property Resource®.
For members of the public, the Palmetto Referral Network improves search capabilities,
allowing their local, trusted REALTOR® to better serve all of their real estate needs efficiently.
For subscribers, the listing displays provide extended access to on-and-off market
properties, sales, valuations, assessments, deeds, foreclosures, mortgage information, and
historical data.
What is the Palmetto Referral Network?
The Palmetto Referral Network is a data sharing collaboration between Coastal Carolinas MLS, Greater Greenville MLS, Lowcountry Regional MLS, the Multiple Listing Service of Spartanburg, Inc., and Aiken MLS facilitated through RPR®. There are currently over 14,000 Realtors® in South Carolina participating.
Why was the Palmetto Referral Network created?
The Network was created to enable broader access to listings within the state of South Carolina, thereby equipping our members to better serve their clients. This collaboration will also provide opportunities for referrals.
Is this a merger between the participating MLSs?
No, this is a data share partnership. Each participating MLS remains a separate legal entity, operating as an individual business with their own board of directors.
Will the Network's data be mixed in with our local Coastal Carolinas MLS data?
No, the source data will remain with each MLS respectively. In RPR®, listing information from each MLS may or may not display together in search results depending on the search parameters used. Users can also search for "My Listings" and "Listings in my MLS."
What specific data will be included?
The data fields that are already available in CCMLS as well as off-market statuses and the Member Remarks fields from the participating MLSs.
How do I get access to data from the other participants in the Palmetto Referral Network?
Sharing of listing information will be available through an information exchange on the Realtor Property Resource (RPR®) website & app.
Remember, RPR® is a member benefit of the National Association of REALTORS® and is included in your NAR dues.
Will there be any additional cost to brokers and agents?
No. Participants and subscribers will have access to the shared data as part of the existing services provided by CCMLS through its participation in the Network.
