About Candidate Screening: Each campaign season, a non-partisan group of volunteer Realtor® members convenes as the CCAR Candidate Screening Task Force. This task force sends candidates a Realtor® questionnaire, interviews candidates, and reviews voting records to determine which candidates are Realtor® friendly. The candidates presented here as recommended are most likely to support Realtor® issues, our industry, and your business. The voter guide is not meant to mandate votes for specific candidates, but to present our REALTOR® members and affiliates with a list of candidates who are sensitive to and supportive of REALTOR® issues.
